June 4th, 2018 Chicago, Il. — Every year companies throughout Chicago compete to be named one of “Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®.” Only companies that distinguish themselves as having the most innovative and thoughtful human resources approach can receive this accolade. These select companies will be honored on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Drury Lane Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace. The winning companies also compete for 13 elite awards, one granted for each category. Also, an overall winner that has excelled in all categories will be honored with a “Best of the Best Overall” award. The elite award winners will be revealed during the luncheon.

The annual symposium and awards program will begin with registration, networking and exhibit gallery preview at 8:00 a.m., followed by education and a community project. The luncheon and awards presentation will be emceed by Judy Hsu, ABC 7 Chicago News and Pat Cassidy, WBBM AM News Radio. The awards presentation begins at 12:15 p.m. and will adjourn at 2:00 p.m.

Winners are pooled by the size of their company. Employers with up to 80 employees are classified as Small Business; employers with 81-300 employees are classified as Medium Business; and employers with more than 301 employees are classified as Large Business. An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry, based on key measures in various categories.
